O2O 离线商务模式
O2O, or online-to-offline commerce, refers to using the Internet to drive offline sales. The idea is to attract users with online promotions and then direct them to actual stores. O2O has gained traction in China in the past year with the rise of mobile payment. Smart phones and payment apps allow people to pay with the same devices they used to find a product or service. For example, a passenger can hail a taxi virtually with an app, then pay the fare with the same app afterward. Completing transactions online also has many benefits for businesses. It enables them to quantify sales data, track transactions and lower payment barriers. Internet companies know that whoever can link user habits to their services first will be the leader of O2O commerce. This is why Alibaba Group and Tencent Holdings have been pouring money into taxi-hailing apps.
